Echo Chamber Negroni
—A cocktail that never argues, only amplifies—until all nuance is devoured by flavor and feedback.
Three voices in the glass collide,
None listen, all are amplified.
The first is gin: crisp, cruel, and clean.
A truth you sharpen, not demean.
Then Campari, red and loud,
A bitter shout that draws a crowd.
It floods the tongue, it paints the floor,
You nod, but aren’t quite sure what for.
Mezcal whispers last and low,
A smoky voice you almost know.
It loops around the others’ song,
Not right, not wrong… just always long.
You sip again. The thoughts repeat.
The ice grows wet, the tone grows sweet.
And when it ends, because it won’t,
You’re left with yes. You’re left with don’t.
