Quantum Old Fashioned
—a poem where physics meets fate in a glass

The glass was full. The glass was bare.
It shimmered softly in the air.
A cube of ice, a twist, a doubt—
The drink both poured and yet poured out.

Within, the scotch held smoky laws,
Bound not by taste, but quantum cause.
A sugar cube, a bitter trace,
Distilled in some uncertain place.

It swirled with truths we can’t define,
Like particles that won’t align.
The orange zest? A ghost, a gleam—
A flavor caught inside a dream.

You sip. You shift. The world decides.
The cat is dead. The cat still hides.
And though your lips may feel the burn,
You’re sipping spacetime’s slow return.

📜 Quantum Old Fashioned – The Recipe

Instructions:
Muddle the sugar and bitters gently—like coaxing a waveform to collapse.
